So, last time I explained the torso and such, but today we are going to examine the limbs (arms hand and feet) Let's get into it!
Arms
The arms are a tricky one. They're packed with pacifiers. The different ways we can grab or pet our arms are fun to observe. When people grab one arm with the other while looking down is a signal of shame. Grabbing the other arm behind the back is a signal of agitation or that the person is trying to soothe themselves. Nervousness really breaks out in the arms. When you are ashamed, you feel rather naked and you try to conceal your arms and your face. we've all felt the feeling that we can't do shit with our arms when we are in a rather shameful situation.
Crossing the arms
I had to include a little section, because I am actually really big on getting this to you accuarately. "Crossing the arms are a sign of agitation and dislike no matter what." is bullshit. There are two ways you cross your arms:
1 the self hug
2 the agitation
The main thing differentiating these two are the visibility of the hands. When none of the hands are visible then it is a tight self hug. When a hand(s) is visible, then it is a restricting action, or a sign of agitation.
Hands
When we are in a stressing situation and we don't know how to calm ourselves discreetly, then we start to fidget with our thumbs or fingers. Some even bite their nails etc. I always see this in my classmates and even me. We all do this.
TIP:
Try to be self aware of your own pacifiers. It is a very good form of practice, because after all we are all people.
Feet
The concept of a good liar is being able to mask the sign of lying. Liars are self-conscous, so they often try maintaining eye contact and such. These masking traits are more apparent around the brain. The further we get from the brain, the more apparent the lying becomes. The feet are the best for this. They are the most honest part of the body. They point towards people we like and away from people we don't.
The bobbling from toe to heel is also a very fun sign. It means impatientness more than agitation. I do this all the time to pass the time. The tapping of the toes are very simmilar and basically mean the same.
This is the end of this series of entries, that I explain body language to you. I hope you enjoyed this series. For feedback about anything, you can contact me on E-mail: adumjane@gmail.com Thank you and
